The Texas Rangers outslug the Chicago Cubs in 4-3 defeat

The Texas Rangers lost 4-3 at Wrigley Field on Tuesday, despite outhitting the Chicago Cubs 11 to 10.
Adrian Beltre
was hot from the plate for the Texas Rangers. Beltre went 2-4, drove in
one and scored two runs. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in
the eighth inning.
The Chicago Cubs' lineup had no answer for Derek Holland.
The Chicago Cubs managed just three hits off of the the Texas Rangers'
pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three
during his three innings of work.
The Chicago Cubs were sparked by PlayerA and PlayerF, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.

Early lead not enough for the Texas Rangers, drop 6-4 decision to the Chicago Cubs

The Texas Rangers built an early edge on Saturday, but the Chicago Cubs roared back to steal a 6-4 victory at Wrigley Field.
While
the Texas Rangers led until the seventh inning, the Chicago Cubs worked
their way back and took the lead on an RBI double by PlayerA.
Nelson Cruz racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Texas Rangers. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third inning.
The Chicago Cubs were sparked by PlayerD and PlayerE, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.
The Texas Rangers jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the top of the first. Ian Kinsler kicked things off for the Texas Rangers with a single. A single by Elvis Andrus then moved Kinsler from first to second. Adrian Beltre
singled, bringing home Kinsler and Andrus. More runs came home for the
Texas Rangers when Beltre scored on a two-run home run by Cruz.
The
Chicago Cubs posted one run in each of the second, seventh and eighth.
In the second, the Chicago Cubs scored on a solo home run by PlayerD.

The Texas Rangers fall 6-5 to the Los Angeles Angels

did all he could to give the Texas Rangers a boost, but it wasn't
enough to get past the Los Angeles Angels, as the Texas Rangers lost 6-5
at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington on Friday.
Pierzynski racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Texas Rangers. He doubled in the fourth and sixth innings.
The Los Angeles Angels' PlayerB, PlayerD and PlayerG combined for nine hits and five RBIs.
The
Los Angeles Angels jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the
second. PlayerD doubled to start things off before PlayerG tripled,
bringing home PlayerE and PlayerD.
The
game was never in doubt after the fifth, as the Los Angeles Angels
scored three runs on a two-run home run by PlayerD and a groundout by PlayerC.
The
Texas Rangers pushed one run across in each of the fifth, sixth and
eighth. In the fifth, the Texas Rangers scored, bringing home Ian Kinsler.
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the eighth, the Texas Rangers faced just a 6-5 deficit. A groundout by Nelson Cruz sparked the Texas Rangers' rally. Pierzynski to end the Texas Rangers threat.
